Lil Poppa, born Janarious Mykel Wheeler on August 3, 1994, is an American rapper hailing from Jacksonville, Florida. Known for his raw and introspective lyrics, Lil Poppa quickly gained recognition in the hip-hop community with his emotionally charged storytelling and unique sound. He started making music at a young age and began to attract attention with his breakout single “Nightmare on Elm Street” in 2018.
