Breathe Carolina is an American electronic music duo from Denver, Colorado,
consisting of David Schmitt and Tommy Cooperman. Formed in 2007, Breathe
Carolina started as a high-energy blend of electronic, rock, and emo influences,
quickly gaining attention with their distinctive fusion of genres and dynamic live
performances.As their career progressed, Breathe Carolina’s sound evolved, leaning more
towards pure electronic and dance music. This shift was evident in their fourth
album, “Savages” (2014), which embraced a more EDM-centric style. The title
track “Savages” and “Chasing Hearts” featuring Tyler Carter highlighted their
adeptness in merging catchy pop hooks with electronic dance music.
